Good morning! It is a glorious morning here, the sun has just risen over the mountains and it is sparkling on the new fallen snow. It looks like a pretty Christmas card. Today I want to share with you my Christmas Tree and tell you about the ornaments that I have made for it. I have spent very little money on my Christmas decor this year and that’s what my blog is all about. Having a beautifully decorated home for pennies. As I said in my last post I have chosen blue and red for my holiday colors. I always like to be different and try new things.

Christmas Welcome
I can’t believe that it has been 2 months since I have last blogged. Time sure does fly. I have had a great time decorating my cottage for the holidays. I really wanted something different in my new home so I spent several months remaking my Christmas decor to fit my cottage and my new-found happiness. Welcome to Shabby Lane Cottage! The entrance to the cottage is a fun welcoming sight. I am totally a blue and white girl and I really embraced it this year for Christmas. Now, there is a color that I do not use very often in my decor and that is red, I have added touches of it through out my home this year. (It’s a long story why red is not one of my favorite colors)
