. . . and to all a good night!

Well, Christmas is almost here! All of the decorating , food preparation and shopping  is about to pay off. For me it all helps to set the mood for celebrating the Saviors birth.

I just want to share with you the last two rooms of my home that are ready for Christmas. The master bedroom and the bathroom. All is calm in the bedroom. Sit back and enjoy!

This room is my chill zone. During the holiday season I love to get comfortable in my lovely bed in the evening with a cup of hot chocolate and 2 peppermint candy canes and watch Hallmark movies on-line. I’m a Christmas romantic, I just can’t help myself. lol

This year I went totally French Brocante in the bedroom. Using light shades of pink and white with a touch of pastel blue.

My Madonna collection is growing. I love collecting Madonna’s because she gives me peaceful feeling. I can’t imagine what she must have felt at the time of the birth of her child Jesus. I think that all mother’s throughout the ages can relate with this amazing mother.

Twinkling lights from the little pink tree and candle light add a lovely touch to the bedroom scene.

Going to bed at night and awaking in the morning I see the face of our dear Savior who we celebrate this time of year. This gives me a sense of great comfort.

Of course I have to adorn every door in the house, I just can’t leave one bare. See a Christmas Welcome.

Antique glass beads adorn the vintage vase. These beads hung on my dad’s Christmas tree when he was very young. Angels, angels and more angels.

  1. Jo, your Christmas looks beautiful. You and I have some of the same furniture. My princess dresser is very similar. Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy all that it involves..xoJudy

  2. Oh, sweey Jo, I could swoon over your beautiful bedroom! What a stunning little haven you have made for yourself…I wouldn’t want to ever leave it 🙂

Merry Christmas, my friend! Sending love and hugs your way!

    • Stephanie I just love you and your clever blog. You are amazing and am so grateful for all of the beautiful, kind ladies like you that I have been privileged to get to know through blogging. It’s such a wonderful community. Merry Christmas!

  3. Your bedroom is so pretty. I love the angel wings above your bed. So gorgeous and serene.
    Merry Christmas sweet friend.

  4. I loved the angels and the Madonnas in your bedroom-how divine and relaxing to go to such a relaxing bed time! I have been trying to watch all my Hallmark Christmas movies, as well; but on my old big box TV-still haven’t gotten the hang of everything on-line or even my new laptop and its functions. The angel wings above your bed and on the lamp are especially heavenly-love it sooo much! Sending you wishes of everything beautiful and heavenly in 2018!! oxox phyl

    • Dear Phyllis, you are so adorable and I have really enjoyed getting to know you. I have found that U tube has free Hallmark movies and I have been watching brand new ones (I don’t have cable). There’s always blessing around every corner for me. Have a Very Merry Christmas!
      xoxo Jo

  5. Your bedroom is so pretty…and I love your rose lamp which I have one very similar…I love your angels and Madonnas. You see so happy in your apartment and it comes across I love Hallmark but when you say you watch online are you watching it on cable? I love their mystery series…Merry Christmas.

  6. Jo, your bedroom is beautiful! I love the vintage beads that once hung on your fathers tree and the vignette you created with them! Thanks for sharing with SYC. Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

  7. Everything is so pretty and romantic, Jo. You have so many unusual pieces of decor, such as the white crown with the pink mercury glass votive inside. Just lovely. I think it’s so cool that you have those beautiful beads from your father’s childhood Christmas tree. Awesome! Hugs.

  8. It all looks and sounds so perfect Jo. I hope your Christmas and New Year were very special.
Thank you for linking up at Create, Bake, Grow & Gather this week and throughout 2017. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all your projects and hope you’ll continue to share your awesomeness with us in 2018.
