Well, Christmas is almost here! All of the decorating , food preparation and shopping is about to pay off. For me it all helps to set the mood for celebrating the Saviors birth.
I just want to share with you the last two rooms of my home that are ready for Christmas. The master bedroom and the bathroom. All is calm in the bedroom. Sit back and enjoy!
This room is my chill zone. During the holiday season I love to get comfortable in my lovely bed in the evening with a cup of hot chocolate and 2 peppermint candy canes and watch Hallmark movies on-line. I’m a Christmas romantic, I just can’t help myself. lol
This year I went totally French Brocante in the bedroom. Using light shades of pink and white with a touch of pastel blue.
My Madonna collection is growing. I love collecting Madonna’s because she gives me peaceful feeling. I can’t imagine what she must have felt at the time of the birth of her child Jesus. I think that all mother’s throughout the ages can relate with this amazing mother.
Twinkling lights from the little pink tree and candle light add a lovely touch to the bedroom scene.
Going to bed at night and awaking in the morning I see the face of our dear Savior who we celebrate this time of year. This gives me a sense of great comfort.
Of course I have to adorn every door in the house, I just can’t leave one bare. See a Christmas Welcome.
Antique glass beads adorn the vintage vase. These beads hung on my dad’s Christmas tree when he was very young. Angels, angels and more angels.
I will see you after the new year!

I loved the angels and the Madonnas in your bedroom-how divine and relaxing to go to such a relaxing bed time! I have been trying to watch all my Hallmark Christmas movies, as well; but on my old big box TV-still haven’t gotten the hang of everything on-line or even my new laptop and its functions. The angel wings above your bed and on the lamp are especially heavenly-love it sooo much! Sending you wishes of everything beautiful and heavenly in 2018!! oxox phyl

Everything is so pretty and romantic, Jo. You have so many unusual pieces of decor, such as the white crown with the pink mercury glass votive inside. Just lovely. I think it’s so cool that you have those beautiful beads from your father’s childhood Christmas tree. Awesome! Hugs.
