More of Shabby Lane Cottage

Welcome back for more of my sweet little cottage Shabby Lane. Because I have so much to show you I have broken down the tour of my new cottage into a few different posts. Today I will be sharing the outside, hallway and bathroom.

outside cottage

Here is the front yard to Shabby Lane Cottage. The duplex was built-in 1961 and has been taken really good care of.  It has all new windows and doors. The yard is in great shape. I have plans to add four hydrangea bushes and lavender in between the hedges with some lovely pots full of flowers. I can’t wait to plant when it gets warmer.

As you walk through the front door the first thing you see is the hallway and with a small right turn is the bathroom.  I don’t have as many walls in this nest as I did before so I used the hallway to hang some of my pictures. Besides I just have a hard time leaving any wall blank! lol I love the two tone paint and the crown moldings. It couldn’t be more perfect for my decorating needs.

The bathroom is all new and that is important to me. The only thing that I am not liking is the towel racks. For now I brought in my ladder for hand towels. This will be something I will be changing.
