Welcome everyone to the Creative Christmas linky party! How fun is this to get to inside of everyone’s home at Christmas time. I love going for a drive and looking at the home’s that are already for Christmas. I love seeing their Christmas tree shinning through the front windows, and often wonder what it must look like inside.
That’s just what this Creative Christmas linky party does for me, it lets me see past the front window and into the home. It’s my turn today to share with you my Christmas decor. I really shook my decor up this year and didn’t follow with many of my old traditions and it really was fun for a change. Enjoy the tour!
Welcome to my little nest, the tour starts at the entrance and my wonderful old birdbath filled with evergreens.
As you walk through the front door you come into the kitchen.
Sweet Christmas vignettes are everywhere.
Now into the dining area.
This old sled carried my children down many snowy hills as well as their father. It has since seen it’s days and now has become a charming Christmas relic in my home.
Now heading into my bedroom.
My bedroom colors are blue and white with bits of faded reds and pink. So very timeless.
Handmade stockings and a faded red hat from 1950 hang on a coat rack by my bed.
Entering the sitting room. There’s lots of eye candy.
Here is what I did with the banner that I shared with you a few weeks ago.
Lots of black and white photos adore my tree this year.
Under the Christmas tree.
Lots and lots of German glass glitter stars adorn the sitting room.
Crowns for every bust sit on my mantle.
To all a good night!
Merry Christmas! Hugs, Jo

Thank you Jann for the opportunity of being in your Creating Christmas linky party. This is the first year that I didn’t cry decorating the tree. I left most of my memories in my cedar chest and that’s where they will stay. Nice to have a new start. xx Jo
