Fall is my favorite time of year. Second is winter, I know that many of you don’t like to hear that but it is. It’s time for life to calm down a bit and to enjoy the comforts of home.

I am a little late at getting my Fall photos out because until about a week ago Utah had temps in the 90’s. But after a long week of rain and cooler temperatures I could see the beautiful reds and oranges popping out on the mountains behind my house. I took advantage of a quiet Saturday and went for my annual Autumn walk about, collecting beauty’s that Mother Nature leaves behind. Like acorn, thistle, berries, pods and cones of all sorts. I love to use these in my Fall vignettes.

Sit back with your favorite cup and enjoy the Autumn Magic in my little nest.

  1. Jo a rich in color and warm tour of you sweet nest for Fall. Autumn is my favorite season too and just today I posted a touch of fall in our home. Sorry to hear you were ill last week with the flu. I had a cold last week but certainly not the flu you poor sweet friend.

  2. Jo, your Autumn décor certainly is magical! Loved every little thing! So sorry to hear that you got the flu!! The little owl mug looks right at home in your nest. You are such a thoughtful and sweet friend! So happy that I have got to hang with you twice now. I received the book and magazines today and loved them. Will start reading the book tomorrow. So glad that you will be sharing this post with SYC.

    • Hi Jann, I’m so glad that you received them in one piece, sometimes you never know. When I got home from the party I saw that book and something said Jann would like this. I loved my trip to New England, something about going at that time of year is so amazing. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Jo

  3. Hi Jo,
All your fall looks so great. Love your front entry too. Glad you loved your package and can use some of those things in your own decor. Beautiful job on all your fall decor.

  4. I love the idea of the pumpkins in the flower pots. I was wondering how to fill in the space on the side of my house where I had beautiful begonias in flower pots that are now withered. I will just leave the flower pots where they are and place a pumpkin in it-easy peasy until Christmas comes out! Of course, there will be a lighted Halloween pumpkin or two on little haystacks. However, the 90 degree days in Delaware need to go away, so I can get in the mood! Thanks for the inspiration and stay well.

  5. Your fall decor is absolutely fabulous…..all of your vignettes are so charming! I love the little post mail box with book pages and fall leaves, so pretty!!!!!
    Happy Fall!

  6. I have the same vintage style mailbox that I ordered from Antique Farnhouse a while back. It’s been hanging on my wall with nothing in it because I just couldn’t find anything that looked right. I loved what you did with it! It’s perfect! Thank you so much for a great idea!

  7. You have such pretty and fun fall vignettes! I will have to go check out your pumpkin tutorial too. So sorry that you are sick! That’s no fun. I hope you get better very soon.

  8. You definitely have the autumn magic touch! I am your new follower, hope you’ll stop by and see me at Junkaholics Unanimous. I love new friends and followers too. I’ll be working up my autumn magic over the next few weeks as well!

  9. Sweet Jo, your home is absolutely delightful! Your rooms are filled with beautiful autumn charm! I’m pretty sure I ooohed and ahhhed at everything! 🙂

Thank you, lovely lady, for sharing this charming post with Roses of Inspiration. Love and hugs to you!

  10. You’re way ahead of me with your fall decorating. Love all your beautiful and inspiring vignettes. Thanks so much for sharing your fall decor at Vintage Inspiration Party.

  11. Jo, you have been a busy lady. Is every nook and cranny filled with Autumn splendor? I’m quite speechless to say the least. Let’s begin with your amazing Autumn chalk art . . . (are you for hire?) and then the little details of adding a simple bit of lace to the stem of a pumpkin, talk about magic. I missed you last year so I was thrilled to pull up your DIY velvet pumpkins, which your choice of blue is fabulous. It’s quite evident the tender loving care that you put into making your home a place of beauty and art. Thank you for sharing.

  12. I’m exactly the same! I LOVE Autumn! So many people look at me with disdain when I say it, but the colours of the season and the fact that time is spent in the home again always makes me happy. I love all your seasonal touches, so cozy and warm xx

  13. Everything is so beautiful, Jo! Fall is my absolute favorite season, too 🙂 Love all of your natural elements, especially the white pumpkins. I’ve not bought any yet–need to get busy!

  14. Anne’s Attic,
    Oh, my g o o d n e s s!!!
Each and every vignette and display is breathtakingly beautiful, dear one!!!
Autumn is my favorite Season, also!!!
The display within the copper bowl is spectacular!!!
This is the first time in years I, too, have used my copper in a display. . .
    and I’m lovin’ it!!!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home filled to the brim with inspiring photos!!!

  15. Wow, you really have a lot of beautiful autumn décor in your lovely home. How cozy it must feel there! I love Fall the most too and I never thought of winter as being a time of rest at home but you are so right! I am becoming more and more a homebody so I will savor those days now!

  16. Anne you autumn magic is delightful! I also love to slow down this time of year and savor home. That is a special time of year when the sun sets sooner and we are inside more. Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
